ABUS Security Locks - Joined company as part time independent rep, calling on retailers. Within 6 months was asked to become sales and marketing manager. Built company sales from $400,000 to $1.2 m in two years. Helped company establish sales in ten industries that they were not yet selling.
Atlas Lock Company - Founded the company in my garage. Within 2 years company was doing over $1 m in sales with 3 salesmen calling in California and Arizona.
AC International - Cofounded company in partner, Terry Brown's, garage to sell tire liners. Company quickly took sales to over $3 m, and eventually reached $5.5. Established tire liner brand with 95% market share. Water bottle line eventually reached 40% share in bicycle industry and was leader in advertising specialty market. Largest maker of bicycle style bottles in the US. Sold in August of 2007. Worked on transition team through May of 2008.
